What is Dialysis?

Dialysis process occur when the kidneys got damaged or destroyed. In this process the dirty blood from the patient’s body releases and get filtered, after getting filtered it again goes back to the body.

How Dialysis is done?

  • Dialysis is done through a machine known as Dialyzer. The process takes approximately 5 hours, and patient must take this process 2 to 3 times in a week.
  • In the patient hand the Cather is injected and the wire is connected with the machine.
  • The machine has a filter known as Dialysis Membrane, and it has a particular place where all the Dialysis Fluid is stored.
  • The toxic or dirty blood starts coming through the pipe and goes to the machine.
  • It passes through the Dialysis Membrane where all the blood is filtered and cleaned. The waste material goes to the portion of Dialysis Fluid.
  • Dialysis Fluid contains Salt in it.
  • Now when the blood is filtered and cleaned it will go again to the body.

Note: Dialysis Process is only for those, who have their kidney damaged or out of order.
