Membrane is a solid object like a wall or a fence which doesn’t let any one pass through it. Cell Membrane can be found in both Animal and Plant cell, but in Animal cell it is the outer most layer and Plant cell in is the second outer most layer. There are basically 3 types of membranes in Biology.
Permeable Membrane:
It is a membrane which let all the particles move through it, no matter it is a solid, liquid or gas. Every Molecule exsist in the world can pass through this membrane.
Semi-Permeable Membrane:
It is a membrane which let some molecule pass through it not all of them. It checks the property of the molecule as required in a particular cell. If all the prerequisites are available in the molecule or particle, it will let them go through it else no.
Impermeable Membrane:
This membrane type is mostly unknown, people usually don’t know about it. This type of membrane will not let any particle of any state of matter go in to the particular cell, it is opposite to the permeable membrane.
