Movement Of Molecules from Higher Concentration to Low Concentration, is called Diffusion.
Both Solute and Solvent can move.
Types of Diffusions:
Diffusion mainly exist in the two types below:
Diffusion in Gas: If we spray an air freshener at the any point of our room, the fragrance of that air freshener will be noticed in the complete room.
Diffusion in Liquid: Imagine of a container filled with water, if we place some Ink drops in the water, the whole water in the container will be of ink color.
Examples of Diffusion:
- The fragrance of perfume is one of the best examples of diffusion.
- When we dip a tea bag into hot water all the tea diffuse in the water.
- Some small dust particles or smoke particles diffuse in the air and they cause the pollution.
